tier- 2 general Nurse ILR after april 2016

Post by lovesaii » Mon May 25, 2015 1:29 am

Hi ,

I am a nurse currently holding tier-2 general Visa and I will be qualified for the ILR in Dec. 2016,where the £35000 applies.
I am currently offered £35500 pa under a 42 hrs/week contract. I would like to know if this will make me qualified for applying for the ILR.

I have contacted many immigration solicitors and some say that it has to be within 37.5 hrs/week and some say that it should be within 48 hrs/week as uptill 48 hrs it is considered as full time employment.

Any one who can give me a clarification on this please? or where I can find the information? I have tried to contact the UKBA and they are not able to provide the accurate information.
