I hold an current account in UK HSBC bank where i had money in that account which i have earned while i was in UK (2004 till 2008) on work permit via an indian software industry. I had moved that money electronically in Online Bonus Saver account (Online Savings Account facility provided by HSBC UK where you get better interest than normal savings account) in 2008. Since then that money (in cash and as per limit required for maintenance fund which i can liquidate anytime) is in that Online Bonus Saver account. I have requsted HSBC UK bank to send me the statement for that account to me here in India which they are doing it. They will be sending me that statement from 1st Jan 2010 till 20th Aug 2010 which fulfils the requirement of maintenance fund to have money maintained for last 3 months. But there are not much transactions during this period.
Can you please confirm if above scenario is valid for Maintenance fund requirement and i can show statement for my online bonus saver account held in HSBC UK branch where i have required money in that account over the last 3 months?
Though i have earned that money while i was in uk on WP in 2004-2008, i had moved that money in 2008 only in that online bonus saver account from my normal current account. So is it compulsory to show that that money was earned while i was in uk on wp since it was done way back in 2008 for which i can not get statement now. Can you please guide

Thge use of terms "Copy" and "Duplicate" is not a problem. Okay to submit as the documents are issued by the body / organisation supposed to issue these documents.
e..g. - I want to keep a bank statement in my possession so request for additional copy from bank to send it to UKBA. The additional copy may state "duplicate" because bank is issuing it to you a second time but is original because it is issued by the bank itself.

Hi Sush,
Can you please help me to confirm below. Just wanted to double sure as i am going to apply on monday for my Tier 1 visa.
Just to reconfirm, so statements i received in india via courier from HSBC bank UK for my Online Bonus Saver account are original statements and does not require stamping and signature ( which i cant get from india). Can you pleasee confirm this.
And is it necessary to mention that this Online bonus saver account is attached to my current account no. XXXXXXXXX and show my current account statement for reference.
