Tier 1 General PBS Dependent

Post by tojopalatty » Mon Feb 23, 2015 10:46 pm

Please advice me on below query..

My wife got visa on May 2012 as Tier 1 General PBS Dependent

She is India currently and she has leave to remain in UK until April 2016. We are expecting the baby (she is pregnant) in March 2015. And I am planning to bring both of them to UK in June 2015.

I will qualify for ILR in June 2016. So my wife needs visa extension to cover the gap between April 2016 to June 2016.

Anyways, i have to apply visa for my kid before i bring them in June. So thought applying visa extension for my wife as well from india.

I would like to understand...

a. If my wife can make an extension application from India (Tier 1 General PBS Dependent) (If my understanding is correct, the cost of visa application is less compared UK. So this would help to save some money).
b. Will the new entry clearance visa have any effect of her ILR application in June 2016.

Please advice..

Kind Regards
T
