Tier 4 General Student Visa Processing Time

I had applied for T4 Gen. Student Visa from VFS Kolkata on 31st May. My CAS was dated 20th April. But till today it is showing under process. On contacting the BHC, came to know that the recent changes in CAS which had come in force on April 21st 2011 is affecting the processing of Visas.

If there are anyone else who had applied for the T4 Visa with CAS dated before 20th April, can advice about his/her Visa status.

Hope that fellows like me sitting at home anxiously waiting for the Visa can get some consolence on getting some news.

Did you complete the correctappendix?

Yeah Greenie, I had completed the correct Appendix and the VAF Form. Before submitting the Appendix and the Forms, I had also called the VFS to confirm that I am using the correct forms. Later on VFS had emailed me the Appendix and Forms. I had also checked the site before downloading the Form and found that I am using the correct Form and Appendix.

OK, well possibly then it is the case that ECO's are having as much trouble as the rest of us trying to get a grip on the new rules hence the delay. When does your course start?

My course is commencing from 15th August. I don't know whether I can make it up or not. All depends upon the Visa.
