Tier 2 General Visa - CoS withdrawn after obtaining visa

Hi there. I hope someone could help me understand my situation.

I have recently applied for a Tier 2 General visa and I have received the visa, which is valid for 3 years; unfortunately, and before I even travel to the UK, my employer decided to withdraw my certificate of sponsorship and terminate my contract with the company.

To sum it up, I got the visa on my passport, but then I lost my job, and I haven't even entered the UK yet.

My question is: Can I still use my visa in order to travel to the UK and maybe look for a new job or sponsor within a certain period of time?

I found some information about the curtailment of visas and the wrap-up period, but does this apply in my case, knowing that I haven't actually traveled to the UK?

No you can't travel to UK if your COS has been cancelled you will not be allowed to enter. You will need to find a new sponsor and apply for visa all over again.
