Tier 1 General Visa extension Contracting jobs

Hi ,

My tier 1 visa will be expiring in 2013 March. I am thinking of renewing it in April/May 2012. I just changed my job from permanent to contracting (Under a umbrella company) in January 2012.

To get the correct points I think I need to show around 42000 income.

So my question is can i show this as salary+ dividend ?

If yes what documents I need to show for that?
