Tier 2 general visa quires

I am currently in UK on Tier 2 ICT dependent visa (issued Nov 2014) and will be switching to Tier 2 general visa on August 2015.
Can someone clarify the below quires :

1. What is the maximum leave can I get if my Tier 2 general visa will be granted ? Is it including the duration of my stay in Teir 2 ICT dependent or excluding ?

2. If I stay for 5 years in T2 General , can I eligible for ILR ?

1. You will have to go back to your home country to apply for T2 General visa. Since you'll be applying for entry clearance visa, your stay in UK as ICT dependent will not be counted and you can get a max of 5-year visa. The actual duration will depend on what's mentioned in the CoS.

2. As per the current rules, Yes.
