Is my Tier 2 (general) visa still valid?

Post by lavellse » Thu Aug 18, 2011 4:55 am

Hi
I was working in UK and holding tier 2 general visa which valid from July 2008 to July 2013. However, I have resigned from my old job and back to China for another job. I want to go back to UK to sort out some stuff in my old flat. so, I am wondering, if my tier 2 visa still valid to let me enter UK? the valid date on the visa is definitely 2 years later, but I am worried if the visa would be cancelled since I am no longer working in UK?

Very appreciate your help

No. It's no longer valid. You may be refused entry due to change of circumstances (321A) or purpose (320(5)).
