Tier 2 General Visa - TUPE

Post by praveenp » Sun Nov 15, 2015 8:12 pm

Hello All,

My current company has been taken over by a new company last week, and I was informed by my HR that they have already informed the UKBA regarding my visa and my visa status (Tier 2 General) will continue under the TUPE, also the new company has submitted a new application for the sponsoring license. I was also been informed that I can continue to work under the new company until a decision on the new sponsoring license is made.

I would like to know if the information provided is correct ?

I would like to know if I work under the new company do I break any UKBA rules ?

Do i need to inform UKBA as well on my behalf ?

Will there be any impact in future when I am applying for my indefinite leave to remain ?

Thanks and Regards

Hello Guys,

Sorry to trouble you again, today the company received a letter from UKBA stating that the sponsoring license application has been refused.

The reason provided is the document submitted was incomplete.

Does that mean, I have only 60 days from today to find another sponsor.

The current company is stating they are reapplying for the license with all the details required and I can continue working for them till a decision is made, even if that is going to exceed the 60 day limit.

I would be grateful if anyone can give me an insight on my queries.

Regards
