UK Tier 1 (General) visas

Hi Guys,
I am new member to this forum(This year). I am having Tier-1General visa which I got last year. I have planned to apply for my NEW BORN (in UK) daughter under Tier 1 General (Dependant) visa . I have few queries. I would be very grateful if you guys clarify my queries from your experience.


1. Is it required to send mine and my wife’s ORIGINAL passports as a proof?
OR
Is it enough to send only the Photostat copy of both of our passports?

2. PBS (DEPENDANT) VERSION 06/09: Is it a correct application form?

1. Not required, only babies original passport is required.

2. Yes, thats correct form.

Can you please let me know what other documents that you are trying to attach for the dependant application?

Thanks a lot for your immeadiate response. Hope you might have faced the same situation before. Basically, why I got this doubt is(sending original passport of the main applicant): In UK, generally they ask for all orginal documents only. But, here in the application and guidance documents, I haven't seen anything about main applicant's passport.

Other Documents:
1. 3 months Bank statements
2. Baby Passport & 2 new photos
3. Birth Certificate: Again Doubt - original or photostat copy

Baby's birth certificate should be Original.

Hi,
I have sent a email to HMRC(UKBApublicenquiries@ukba.gsi.gov.uk) regarding original passport. I got a standard reply from them. It clearly says I should also send original passport. So I am going to send the following originals:
Passport(s), Birth certificate, Bank Statements and Marraige certificate of mine.
