Tier 2 gereneral extenion

Hi,
My present COS was from April 2013 to April 2016 and I got Tier2 visa for the same 3 years, ie. till April 2016. However my offer letter was till April 2015 only. I hope my company will extend my contract soon in April 2015 for two more years,i.e. till April 2017. So the question is - 1. will my company generate soon a new COS with new offer letter in April 2015 , valid till April 2017?
2. if they do so, can I apply visa very soon, I mean before 1 year of expiry of my remaining visa.

I have a question to ask you. I had a initial 1 year contract with my employer. It expired it 28th November. I was granted 1 year visa when applied. Now contact is extended and will be another year, also my contract will be permanent soon in July 2015. I am already getting experienced salary. So my question is - Can my employer issue me a COS for 4 years although I am still in temporary contract and my contract will be extended in July permanently? Your help will be appreciated. My COS suppose to be issued tomorrow, just wanted to make sure before its done. Thanks
