Tier 5 - Government Authorised Exchange - Concerns

Post by pirfena » Sat Mar 29, 2014 10:25 pm

Dear all members,

I am a Turkish Citizen. But, I have been studying as an Erasmus Student for two semesters, in Denmark since September, 2013. I hold a Schengen Visa and also have a Residence Permit in Denmark. I will also do my Erasmus Work Placement in England between 30th June and 30th September. I am filling the Vaf9 form through https://www.visa4uk.fco.gov.uk. While filling, I encounter with these concerns;

1) In the Passport and Travel Information Part, It asks Country of Residence. Am I suppose to choose Turkey or Denmark?
2) In the Tier 5 Temporary Worker Part, It asks What is the full address of your sponsor?. Am I suppose to write the details of British Council, which provided me a Certificate of Sponsorship or write the Host Institution where I will do my Erasmus Work Placement?

Thank you very much for the answers in advance.

Best regards,
pirFena

1. See also ECB5 Where to apply, the policy.
2. Sponsor is the one who issues the Certificate of sponsorship.

Dear vinny,

Thank you for the answer. But;
1. As I am a citizen of Turkey and Turkey is not in EU-Zone, and I am not applying for Family Permit, I am not responsible for the first link.
2. I know who Sponsor is and I have already got my unique Certificate of Sponsorship. My CoS is issued by British Council.

-I am just not sure what my Country of Residence is, because I live in Denmark since September and have a residence permit in Denmark until the mid of July.

-Do I have to write the address of the the sponsor which is written on my CoS?
