Tier 2 ict dep to tier 2 general

Hi
My wife is currently on tier 2 ict dependent.. Her employer secured RCoS & now she is applying for tier 2 general. My question is, if due to some reason her tier 2 general gets rejected will she be able to enter uk on her existing tier 2 ict dependent? Or tier 2 ict dependent is cancelled if she applies for tier 2 general?
