Hello Board Members,
I have read multiple posts around this topic where all board members have confirmed that an early extension application should NOT be a problem. But i still want to be sure as i risk loosing the application fees ~ £650
My wife 's current Tier 2 ICT dependent visa expires in September 2015. We have extensive travel plans in August and September this year and i wish to get her Visa extension sorted much before that (Preferably this month itself)
I have called the UK Immigration and Visa Advise line a few times and all personnel have given me the same answer, that i CANNOT apply earlier or later than 28 days before expiry. However they could not point me to any specific UKBA guidance notes etc. which was quite strange. However they said they were 110% sure that the application will be REFUSED!!
I have already been issued an ILR in Feb 2015. My Wife is not due for her ILR until Nov-2017.
I'm really confused. Any help/reassurance would be much appreciated.
Kind Regards
