Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Part to Tier 2 Gen-Cooling period

Hi,
I am in Tire 2 long term visa from past 6 months.
my question is

1) To apply for a Tire 2 General visa, do my wife has to apply form india.
2) if so, does cooling period of 1 year applicable to my wife.

Hi There,

Currently I am in London on a Tier 2 ICT Long Term Staff Visa with 12 months validity.
I would like to stay back here and switch my current VISA to Tier 1 General VISA.

Please advice/guide me on following:
1) I can switch from Tier 2 to Tier 1 General Visa?
2) If Yes, what documents are needed to proceed with an application.

Hi Yazaf,

i hope you can not convert form ICT long term visa to Tire 1 General visa.
if you want to convert
1) go to home country
2) bee for one year (cooling period)
3) Again comeback on Tier 1 General Visa.

to make my question more clear

if my wife has to apply for Tire 2 General Visa,

1) can she apply form UK or from Home Country.
2) If it's home country, does cooling period of 1 year applicable to my wife or she can apply as soon as she returns to INDIA.

Thanks for your input. Are you sure, that I cannot apply for T1(G), as I've seen where thread where we can apply.
Can you / someone confirm, if I can apply.
