Tier 2 ICT Migrant - Visa transfer

My tenure in the current project will end by December and my company is planning to send me back to India (my base location) after that. But I don't want to, for various financial obligations back there. I'm here with a Tier 2 (ICT) Migrant Visa issued before 6-Apr-2010. I got it extended by May'11. It expires by May'12. And as per section 245GD (b)(i)(3) in link http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk/polic ... es/part6a/ it sounds that I'm eligible to get my visa transferred to some other employer.

Would you advise me to attempt finding a new job (.Net developer) and get the visa transferred?
