Tier-2 ICT new born baby VISA

Post by sumitc2608 » Wed Sep 14, 2011 8:47 pm

I have been in UK since last year May on Tier2 ICT and got the extention till 2013. My wife is expecting and she is going to India to give birth my child. She will be in India for 5 Months

Could anyone please confirm

1. If this will create any issue to apply VISA for my child from India
2. How long it will take to get the VISA
3. What are the documents required for the same

Any pointers will be appriciated

Many Thanks

Thanks for your reply.

Could you please also confirm if I stay in India for 3 months. So will it affect to my next extention and will it create any issue at immigration

Single absence of more than 90 days may affect a settlement application but does not have any effect on "extension" application. You may (re)enter UK anytime during the validity of your leave.
