Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 General Dependent Visa Query

Hi ,

I am on a Tier 2 ICT visa from Jan 2011 and switching to Tier 2 General Dependent Visa. I want to quit my current employer. Wanted to know if I can serve the notice period post switching to Dependent visa? Notice period is 2 months. Are there any restrictions on doing this?
