Tier 2 ICT to Tier 2 general switch

Post by vikasverma » Thu Feb 25, 2016 5:48 pm

Hi,

My name is Vikas and I cane to UK on 19 Sep 2010. My Tier 2 ICT visa was issued on 16 Sep 2010 and since then I am in UK (with a gap of just 3 months). My question is, if I am able to find a sponsor who is willing to offer a job to me, will that job offer need to go through the resident labour test, publishing job vacancy in newspaper/online portal for 30 days? I know that I am eligible to switch in UK as my visa was issues in Long term category issued before Apr 2011.

Regards
Vikas

RLMT is a must for any new sponsor, unless the job is on the shortage occupation list.
