Tier 2 to ILR_ Not sure what form for spouse to use to extend Tier 2

I have just been granted ILR but my partner isn't eligible because he doesn't meet the time spent in UK requirement as he frequently travels to home country also for work and back here to visit. He was on Tier 2 dependant visa all along.

I used to be on a Tier 2 before my ILR and he was a dependent. Now I have ILR and we want to extend his Tier 2 since he is not eligible for ILR.

I have checked different forms but it seems confusing. Please can anyone advise what is the right Form to use to apply for his extension.

He should continue to extend on the same route as he has been using. He can't change just because you now have ILR. If he changes, his clock would reset to 0.
No sin in failing, you just have to try and try again!

Also note that the Tier 2 visa was replaced by the Skilled Worker visa in 2020!

You might find the forms with the "Skilled worker" as a prefix.
