Tier 1 initial application

Post by Phcson » Wed Nov 21, 2018 6:36 pm

Hello everyone, I've applied for a T1E initial 2 times and were refused. First time, my application was refused because I proved a non-self consortium IELST certificate. Second time, I received a refusal because the rules "invested" or "spent" funds. I showed the funds of £230,000, I use £200,000 to buy an off-license and £30,000 for contingency funds. The issue is even I use £200,000 to take over this business, I have to invest £200,000 more. This off-license is in a terrible state of repair. I had not state that in the last interview. So, my question is if I show the fund of £400,000 and fully explain about the problem weren't mentioned, do I have a chance for the third time? I really want to take over this business because it's a very good opportunity and I don't want to miss this.

Yes that should meet the funding requirement.

Both the reasons for your refusal were straightforward and should have been easy to avoid in the first place. Clearly you did not do the minimum requirement of reading and understanding the rules and the guidance.

So, while you may have addressed the language issue and the funding issue, there may be other issues with your application.

Of course, you can keep paying HO to check your application for mistakes and you will eventually get your visa. A previous refusal is not a reason for refusing a new application.

Thanking you in advance for your advice. I'm sorry for not reading carefully the rules and the guidances. I focused on business plan and market research too much, so I wasn't checking to see if there is any mistakes. My biggest error was that I have just known this website.
Could you please give me some advice about related documents besides the documents I must provide in the guidances?

There are no other related documents - just stick to the requirements as set out in the guidance.
