Hi There,
I have been reading the forums and they are very very useful to address most of my questions. I just need to confirm one thing quickly if somebody can help please.
My company will apply for an intra-company transfer visa to transfer me from Canada to UK. My wife will be accompanying me so her application will be done under mine as a dependent. As far as I understand, we need to provide following for her;
- Proof of relationship i.e. marriage certificate
- Application fee
- Proof of funds to support her
Is the list accurate or is there anything more (or less) to this?
One other thing, as far as I know, as long as you hold a work visa, you wife can also work. Does this mean, they give her a work visa on her passport or there is an understanding of that and she needs to provide that I have a work permit to start working somewhere?
Oh one last things... Sorry... Our applications will be done a Visa agency in UK, they have only asked for photocopies of the documents including the passport front page. When the application is processed and visas are granted will they ask for the passport or will they put the stamp at the point of entry? It seemed odd not sending in the passport during processing???
Thanks,
Mert
