Tier 2G Leave Curtailed due to redundency - Please Help

Hi,
I was in T2(General), My leave curtailed and last date according to UKBA letter is 12th Aug. I planned to switched in to T4 Student but my course starts on 15th Sep,therefore the uni wanted me to leave the country and apply as an outside applicant. I have a baby 3months old and my daughter is eight years. I came to UK in 02/2010 with my family. I am not in a position to leave UK at this moment.
1.) Can I request to extend my leave curtailment for another 2-4 weeks, so I can enroll in to my university.
2.) What are the other possible options I have ( Except finding another sponsor for T2G)
