WP + Tier 1 - A lost passport case

Post by lastsecond » Tue Jan 05, 2010 9:41 pm

Hi all,

I am about to apply for ILR in person. This is a WP following by a Tier 1 visa case.

In total, I have owned 3 passports so far. The 2nd passport that covers a period of about 3 years under WP was lost. However I still luckily keep a copy (CERTIFIED BY SOLICITOR) of the lost passport with first page, WP stamps, stamps of UK entries on various arrivals, and other stamps

I have originals of my current valid passport with Tier 1 visa stamp and the first passport showing my clearance entry into the UK as a student and first WP stamp.

How do you think about the CERTIFIED COPY OF THE LOST PASSPORT? IS IT ELIGIBLE? Of course, I have all other supporting documents (P60s, payslips, letter of employer)

Please let me know if there is anything else I should prepare.

Thanks
