Tier 2 need guidance for applying visa for child born in UK

Hi I am on tier 2 general visa
And I need to apply for visa for my child who born in UK
So what supporting document I need to send to UKBA for that?
Do I need to maintain any funds in bank for his visa?
Is there any other option if I don’t have maintained fund in my account. Like letter from employer.

Do you have any intention of traveling outside of the UK with the child before you qualify for ILR?

if i have that maintenance money in bank which is in India is that ok?
