Tier 4 Non-EU Student and EEU Spouse Girl

Post by paknet » Wed Dec 04, 2013 11:07 pm

Hiya

I will be really thankful to u guys if u advice me in this situation!
I am on tier 4 Student Visa in UK and my cousin has got italian citizenship through naturalisation. She was married with an italian national which lasted for 3 years and in the mean time she only visited italy once, she lived in Pakistan 3 years before travelling to italy again to get her citizenship last week.It was a arrange marriage and she already received Islamic Pakistani Divorce from her husband in Pakistan. She is Dual National,Pakistani and Italian Citizenship. Now my question is if she produce her Pakistani Islamic Divorce to Italian Embassy ,will she get the italian divorce instantly or how long long it will take to get divorce from italian embassy on the basis of Dual Pakistani Nationality because if she takes divorce from Italian passport/Italy Law then she must be separated from husband for minimum 3 years if both parties agree,if both parties dont agree then it might take 5 years.Obviously i can marry with her islamically in London as she is islamically divorce but i cannot marry with her legally in UK because she is already married and cant marry twice by western law otherwise she and i might get prosecution on the basis of bigamy?
What will be the best and quickest way to settle the divorce to get legally married by UK law??

Kind Regards

Mr Khan
