Tier 1 PBS Depedant to Tier 2 General

Dear all,
I have some confusions to apply my visa. Hope to get some helps please.
I am currently resident in th UK with a Tier 1 PBS Dependant Visa, with a valid Biometric Permit.
My employer is going assign me a restricted COS.
My question : Do I need to go back to my home country for the Tier 2 General Visa application or can I actually apply the Visa in the UK without going back?
Hope can get some advise, thanks.

1. Restricted CoS can only be used for entry clearance application.
2. Dependant of Tier 1 (General) migrant cannot switch to Tier 2 (General).
Life isn't fair, but you can be!
