Tier 2 Premium (in person) visa application is now online. It is clearly written in the guidelines (https://www.gov.uk/ukvi-premium-service ... ppointment):
"If you’re applying for a Tier 2 visa, or as a dependent of a Tier 1, 2 or 5 worker, you must book a premium service appointment as part of completing your online application."
It is confusing if someone is without a passport. When filling the online application, there is a question. Do you have your passport, or a copy of the information on the photo page:
- When someone opt for no. There are further options such as it is not returned when applied for previous application. If you tick that option, no passport detail are asked. Not even the number. So the application will be submitted without details of passport.
- When someone opt for yes, one need to provide details of the passport. At the end of application, one is asked to bring the passport at the time of appointment (it is mandatory). If passport is retained by UKVI, one cannot use this option.
Its confusing if someone is without a passport!
