UK Tier 2 Short Term Visa - General Query

Post by BalaTechWiz » Thu Mar 10, 2016 4:42 pm

Hi,

I've applied for a Tier 2 ICT short term visa, completed my documents submission today ... My query is "I ve entered a different spelling of my "PLACE OF BIRTH" I.e, as per my passport & CoS it is "CHENGALPATTU" but in the visa application it was CHENGALPET". Both spelling points the same place. I'm worried whether my visa will get rejected for this reason ... Can someone help me on this regard and get it clarified.

Many Thanks,
Bala

Don't sweat the small stuff.
If this is all explainable and understandable as alternate spellings of the same placename then no need to lose sleep over this.

Wikipedia even has a third version: Chengalpattu, formerly known as Chingleput.
