Tier 2 shortage occupation

My partner applied in england under shortage occupational list but since 1st of october this was removed in the list. I am due for extension application as dependant and one of the question is asking if my partners work in a shortage occupation im confused what to answer yes or no. Please help. Thanks

For PBS dependents , your status depends on the what was the main applicants CoS status. He was issued a cos job title which was in shortage. So you should mention shortage. This is what I understand.

I am in same scenario. I am about to submit a dependent application. The main applicants job title has been made as shortage from Oct. But I cant/wont be applying in shortage since the actual Cos issues was before OCT 2019.

But lets wait to hear from experienced moderators. I too would save few bucks if other wise :-)
