Tier 2 - Some queries

Post by mahesh2013 » Tue Jan 15, 2013 7:40 am

Hi All,

I have to go to UK on Tier 2 visa (Intra Company Transfer) and i read information on the ukba site. However i had some additional queries listed below which i could not find clear answer for -

1. Is NHS available for me from the time i land in UK ?

2. I may want to bring my mother for sometime (3 months)to UK as she is dependent on me financially. What kind of visa is applicable to her ? Visitor or Family or dependent? Also, is there any restrictions on after how many months she can come to uk as i am on Tier 2 visa?

3. Will NHS also be applicable to mother once she lands in UK?

Any insights will be helpful.

there are some differences between England and Scotland re. the NHS entitlement of overseas visitors. See the further links within the links above, e.g.
