Tier 2 - Start Date

Hi

I got the CoS which said a start date of December 1st, 2013. I applied and successfully got the tier 2 visa.

But now, my employer wants to push the start date by a few weeks to January.

I dont mind the time-off. but I dont want to inadvertantly be doing something illegal.
