Tier-1 validity when coming into UK

Post by mkanagar » Mon Jan 30, 2012 4:34 pm

Hi All,
I am in UK on Tier-1 General Visa.
And my visa runs out end of this year.

Most probably, My sister's Marriage will happen in India some time this year.
Not sure about the date or month at the moment.
but it might be after June.

Suppose if the Marriage is to be fixed on Oct/Nov, will i able to enter into UK after attending the marriage in India.

I am asking this as when I enter UK after attending the marriage, i will have only a month or so left in my visa. I am not sure if there is any minimum visa validity when entering UK.

Please let me know. Thanks.

Regards,
Mahesh

As long as your visa is valid, you wont be stopped to enter UK. 1 month is more than enough for you to come back to UK and apply for extension.
