Tier 2 Visa Appeal - Upheld but made redundant

Hi Everybody,

Thank you lord for this wonderful forum. Im in such a rotten pickle with my Tier 2 Visa application and am fervently hoping somebody on here can guide me in the right direction.

So I came to the UK on a tier 4 student visa, finished my post grad and then switched to PSW. Found a job soon thereafter and they offered a sponsorship and i applied for a tier 2 general visa before my PSW expired. I received my rejection letter from UKBA a month after the application was put in, citing that job description does not match with job code selected. Went on appeal to First Tier Tribunal. Oral Hearing was last month (October 24th) and appeal was allowed by the judge who found that the code i chose was most proximate to my job description. Decision letter was received on the 5th of November, almost two weeks ago. Today I went into work and was told that the company was being sold off and we were all going to be made redundant !

So now I don't know what will happen. My passport was retained by UKBA when they decided to reject my tier 2 application as my PSW leave had expired by then. Moreover, its due to expire in a months time from now. So I dont have my passport, no travel documents. i dont know if UKBA will go on appeal against First Tier Tribunal decision or if theyd start processing my visa application and even if they do, I dont know how long theyd take to finish processing and send me my visa+passport+biometric.
My understanding is that the UKBA can take 8 weeks or more to process the visa if appeal is allowed but ill be leaving the job in under a month from now. What will happen to my Visa ? Will I get it sent to me even if im not working anymore. Im sure the employer will inform UKBA at some point about me being made redundant so if that happens before they process my visa, will they reject the application ? What is my status now ? Am I still on section 3(c) leave till my visa comes through ? So confused....I never engaged a solicitor for my appeal coz nobody was willing to take on my appeal and i represented myself. Ive held on thus far and fought it out but now am at my wits end...please please help !!!

Appeal Decision Letter Received: 05/11/2014 (Appeal Allowed)
Due to be made redundant on: 20th December 2014
