Tier-2 Visa Curtailment / Cancellation

Post by radiostar09 » Mon May 26, 2014 8:46 pm

Hi,

My job finished on 7th April 2014 but my Tier-2 visa is valid till December 2015.I am assuming that I have 28 days + 60 days of grace period. I have following questions:

1 - For how long my visa is valid after loosing job. My employer informed the home office the same day my job was finished (7th April).

2 - I was informed by my employer that I will receive a letter from Home Office within 10 working days which will contain details for maximum stay and visa curtailment. Its been one and a half month now and I haven't receive any thing from home office. Shall I exit the country by the 60th day of loosing job or 60+28 days ?

3 - When I received the tier-2 visa, I received a leaflet along with it stating that I should inform Home Office within 28 days if job is finished. I informed the Home office using "Change in Circumstances Form" and send my passport and BRP along with it. I have received my passport back but I did not received any further information or leaflet along with it (just a blank passport). Is there any customer service center for home office where I can visit and find the information?

Many thanks,
Syed
