Tier 4 visa extension for existing course

Hi... need an advice please. I am extending my doctoral course and got the CAS for 8 months. Me and my dependent are.going to apply form inside the UK.
will the dependent get right to work as its not a new course just an extension of the exisitng course. Waiting for a prompt reply please. Thanks in advance

Not sure where you are reading that a Tier 4 dependant may lose their right to work if the Tier 4 migrant is extending for the same course? Can you clarify?
