Tier 1 UK VISA- Refusal : Offence - Fine !!

Post by moostang » Sun May 25, 2008 8:46 am

Hi Friends,
I want to know what is the criterion for the refusal of the HSMP in case of a minor offence like fine which happened about an year ago. The thing is that the rehabilitation period is of 5 years for a fine and i don't want to wait another 4 years for the same.

If i mention the same in the Tier1 Vaf9b form which i will if i apply what all checks will they perform for it ?

All other criterion with regards to the new points based system are fully met in my case or rather are good except for this clause.

What are the chances for the application been accepted by the ECO ??

Also, i want to know in case of rejection if it happens do the rejection stamp comes on the passport anywhere or not ??

Any help or advise will be greatly appreciated. Please help.

You should have searched the forum before asking your question.

Thank niw2 .. for the reply

But, unfortunately under the new PBS i dont think the info as mentioned in the link above holds true.

Under the new PBS, there are no 2 steps of application infact now you have to submit your passport along with the application form.

The same is not answered as per the link above.

Also, what about the rejection been stamped on the passport or not ??

Your question is related to Tier 1 but you have quoted HSMP in your original post.. So niw2 wasn't at fault in advising you based on your original post seeking advice regarding HSMP criteria.

Do not confuse HSMP with Tier 1. There's nothing called Tier 1 (HSMP), it is just Tier 1 (general). Ask the right question, and I am sure people will help you by providing advice/suggestion/feedback based on that.

regards

Thanks SusdMehta... For your reply.

I accept the mistake of mentioning HSMP though the issue seems to be more towards Tier 1 ( General Category).

So, now since we have clarity on the issue and i guess everyone in the forum knew the difference between Tier 1 and HSMP except me :-).

Can somebody help or advise us on the issue ??

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks.
