Hi Rahul,
I you had opened your bank account on 2nd of April and believe someone from the bank has by mistake mislead caller from HO then contact your bank immediately to show them (visa refusal letter) and ask them to compensate for it by providing you the letter with correct information regarding your account (when it was opened etc). You can then use that letter in support of your appeal.
You must had received some documents (contract, welcome letter etc) at the time of opening your bank account which must have opening date on those. You should also use them in support of your appeal.

Ask your lawyer, if it is possible to ask HO to review your application with the support of these documents otherwise go with the appeal. You should also ask your bank to pay for the appeal charges if this is solely the bank mistake. I hope this will help.

Thanks,
Hassan
