Tier 4 visa.

Post by we10 » Thu Aug 29, 2019 8:52 pm

Hi,

I am applying for a one-year exchange programme in UK and I am from a Non-EU country and I am currently studying in France so I would apply for Tier4 general visa. My residence permit in France is about to expire but I already made the renewal application and waiting for the new one. I mentioned that in my application.
I would appreciate it whether you tell me if this would be a problem to get the Tier4 visa?

Thanks in advance.

What specific aspect of the Tier 4 visa eligibility are you concerned that this might affect?

You must apply apply outside the UK, but otherwise you can can apply wherever you are living at the time of the application.

This is confirmed in paragraph 28 of the immigration rules:
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... -in-the-uk

and in the Entry Clearance guidance ECB05:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... pply-ecb05
