Tier1 General Extension

Hi,

My visa is expiring in June 2012. I am planning to go for in Person interview, and have got the date for the March 19.

Am I going too early... How long does it take to get the visa renewed in case of In Person Interview? Does the visa get renewed from very next day or within a week?

I just dont want to overlap 2 months of visa....

There will be no overlap.

In case you get an approval the same day as your PEO appointment, your new leave to remain will start from the same day as your appointment.

On the same day, you previous leave to remain ends as you have the new leave. So no overlap.

It will be valid from date of approval...and if you go to PEO then you will get decision on the same day..

Be careful here.. you might get short for your ILR qualifying period.

Thats wat my concern was, I am gone waste my 2months visa by extending it too early....
