Tier1 General Single Visa - Dependents Passport expiry date

Post by CraveforUK » Fri Aug 15, 2008 9:18 pm

Hi,

I am applying for Tier 1 general visa (single). I am NOT applying for my dependents (Husband and Daughter) now.

I am applying for my Tier1 visa next month.

My daughter's passport is expiring in January 2009 and my husband's is expiring in April 2009.

Will my dependent's passport's expiry date have any impact on my application ? Because in vaf9 Annexure C, it is mentioned that the passport should be valid for atleast for 6 months after the intended departure from the UK.

I appreciate your reply.

Regards

If one is making an out-country application in an immigration category (read Tier 1) that allows hom/her to enter (and live in) UK, what does UKBA / BHC mean when they state

:?
The applicant intends to depart from the country he/she is appying from and finally *arrive in UK*, and not *depart from UK*!

Doesn't make sense (to me at least)! So best to check with local BHC directly.
