Tier1 to ILR and Dependant

Post by gps.babu » Sat Feb 08, 2014 10:04 pm

Hi Immi.Board Memebers,

Below are my details and situation.

I came to UK with Work Permit ICT on 7th Dec 2008 and switched to Tier 1 (General) migrant. The date of application was on 28th March 2009. My current Tier 1 (General) visa is valid till 11th June 2014. I also got my Life in UK test before March 2013 itself. I got married last year and my joined me in UK on 17th Aug 2013 as Tier 1 (General) PBS dependant.

I have completed 5 years in UK in combination of Work Permit (4 months) + Tier 1 General (4 yrs and 10 months). My wife has just completed 5 months in UK. My Wife clearly is not eligible for ILR, and can only apply for her extension.

Questions:
Q1. Is PBS calculator print with 10 points for Degree taught in English enough along with Life in UK test pass to prove KOLL requirement.

Q2. If I alone apply for my ILR next month and apply for my wife later may be in month of May 2014. Will my wife's dependant visa be invalidated if I get ILR? Will she still be a PBS dependant and eligible for extension in same category?

Q3. Which application form do I need to use for my wife while applying for her extension?

Request you to clarify.

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,
Babu

Thanks a lot Vinny,

I am not sure about this PBS print and you have said it may probably be accepted for KoLL proof.
