Tier1 to ILR, Main and Dependant living separatly

Post by nima3 » Wed Mar 25, 2015 3:39 pm

Hi,

in April 2016, me and my dependant(my wife) will be eligible to apply for ILR, we have been living together since we came to UK at 2007 to continue our studies and then i moved into Tier1 and made her my dependant, but due to some relationship problems we are having at the moment we would like to live apart for a while and see if the distance can help our relationship and get us together again, this means we will both live in London but in different addresses. would this cause any issues in terms applying for ILR?

we might be able to keep all our statements and bills registered to both of us on only one address, basically declare one address as the living address for both of us and just rent a room(shared flat) for the other partner.

thanks a lot.
