Hi,
I am in UK and was under ICT previously and have now shifted to tier1. However, before coming over to UK my employer had asked me to sign a doc which stated that I was liable to legal action in the country of deputation (which in this case is UK) in case I changed my legal status.
My employer used to have this provision previously as well but they used to state that the legal action would be carried out in the original country of residence/employment.
Is it true that they can legally sue me - though the law of the land permits to do this?
Any insight will be most helpful.
