tier1 previous earning question

Post by saferider » Sun Mar 01, 2009 1:38 pm

I am applying for switching from WP to tier1. i got a question regarding my previous earning.

I had changed my job in Oct 2008, my joining date to the new employer was 20th oct, my last working day in previous organisation was sept 16th. i had taken a vacation before joining my new employer. I have got my entire salary for the month of sept 2008. the extra money that was paid to me was adjusted in my final settlement in oct. ( i still got abt 2k as my final settlement) but i dont have a payslip for the oct month from my previous employer and my p45 shows this extra amount paid to me. i have a salary slip to show for the 10days I worked for my new employer.

my question is should i show this 2k in my previous earning? even if i remove this 2k i am eligible for the points. but will there be a problem in matching my salary slip/bank statement/p45 ?

Hi,

I would suggest try to keep the document evidences simple. Keep just Salary slips and Bank Statements. And dont show your 2k settlement for which you dont have salary slip. Also, dont show P45.

Having two evidences from different sources will suffice and makes case worker easy to validate.

Whetever you show, your evidence should collaborate each other. Like your statement should match with your payslips. If you can't show in your payslips then you need to get an letter from your previous employer otherwise better not to show.
