Tier1 previous earning

I read that recent graduate students can not claim points for their previous earnings, is it true?

I am a student in the United States right now. I will be graduating very soon and I used to work back in my country before I came to the United States. It's been 2 years that I have been in States.

1. Can I still claim points for my previous earnings?
2. Previous earning should be atleast GBP 20,000 is that after multiplying with the country multiplier?

Can any one please help me out with this?
