Hi,

Currently i am holding HSMP tier1 valid till 2011,due to the recession i am not able to get the job.But one of the company in india is ready to sponser the work permit to UK.

If i go ahead with workpermit,would UKBA cancel my HSMP permit?

Please help me.thanks.

Yes. Work Permit from Indian company will overwrite your Tier 1. You can only keep one visa status at one time.
Why not ask Indian company to accept you on Tier 1? It will save them expenses of getting work permit for you and also one place in wp license(they will be having).
