Tier1 - Tier2 Visa

Hi

I have Tier 1 Visa valid till Feb,29 2012, and never visited to UK during the visa period, im planning to a short term visit to UK in the month of December, if i get the contract job for these two months, am i eligible for switching to Tier 2 Visa.

Please advice.

Possibly, but you and your employer would still be required to fulfill all of the conditions for Tier 2. Your current immigration status does, and being employed by a potential sponsor would not afford you any advantages or shortcuts.
