Tier2 ICT dependant work permit

Hi,

I am on Tier2 ICT long term dependant visa valid till Mar, 2016.

I have a permanent job in London.

If my partner is sent back to our country by his company before visa expires, in what situation I will be able to continue my job with my current company in London?

Can I apply for tier2 general visa?

I am getting different replies from everyone, so decided to post here.
