Post by madhukiran_sajc » Wed Apr 15, 2015 12:43 pm

Hi,

This is about my friend. She compelted her masters in the UK on July 2014. Her VISA is valid until May 2015. But Since she completed her studies before her visa expired, according to the rules she si supposede to leave the country by 18th of October( inspite of having the VISA physically printed as May 2015). She left the country on February 2015 after attending interview in a company. But after she left to India, she received the jon affoer from the company witha tier 2 sponsorship. She applied for the VISA from India and had to attaend to the interview. But at the VISA interview she was told that her VISA would be refused as she overstayed and we are waiting for the refusal letter. Would like to know if there isw any chance of appealing against the descision. Pleas help

Did she receive any notice of curtailment?

No she did not receive any. But the UKBA says the notice of cutailment has been sent to all the students of similar case in our university according to which the last date is October 18th.Also, the interviewer told her that the notice of curtailment has beens ent to her. In this case is this still possible to appeal?
